Solar CP is the perfect solution for the corrosion protection of the steel reinforcement of concrete structures, e.g. bridges in remote areas, far from power lines. The CAS Solar CP solution is self sustaining and assures nearly maintenance free corrosion protection of the steel reinforcement.
The CAS Solar CP solution uses the concrete structure itself as a storage medium for the electrical energy - the concrete structure is charged up during daylight and discharged during night time. The CP system is monitored and controled by the low energy LE-DAC unit with a power requirement of only 20 mW.
